This is a Western Digital Scorpio Blue 160GB / 5400 RPM SATA hard drive. I am pretty sure this is the original hard drive from my PS3. I have upgraded to a 320GB in the PS3 and was saving this one as it was modded when I removed it. When I placed it back in the PS3 it said that I had to install Playstation software 4.11 or higher. Since I can't go back to my earlier 3.56 software...I have reformatted it in NTFS format and it is ready for use in a laptop or to be reformatted in a PS3 to upgrade from a 60GB or 80GB unit.
