OK..here's the deal: I looked for a similar item on an antique dealer's website..and found the EXACT same frame for the following ad price:

"1800s Civil War Picture Frame RedRiverAntiques $125.00 USD"

SO-Regarding the pictures...the first 1-5 pictures are the actual frame you are bidding on. The LAST pic is the one I found on the antique shop website...for comparison only. The ONLY flaw in mine is that it doesn't have any glass in it. just the frame. BUT..the one on the web has a chipped stand..mine doesnt! This is just TOOOO cool! ORIGINAL paint - not touched up. Numbered on back.

4 1/4" x 6" for the photo/glass part..but the outside measures 6 x 8 1/2

Is there anything else besides the #. A maker or anthing. This would make cool thing to sell to a civil war reenactor. They would definitely snatch this up. Nice frame

My husband has a great photo of his gg Uncle who fought with the Michigan 10th Infantry in the Civil War. His photo in uniform would look fantastic in that frame! Hope I have chance at it!
