Description

The listing, 5 WWII JAPANESE OCCUPATION CURRENCY NOTES has ended.

it is a Japanese government-issued Philippine fiat peso. its part of the 1942 series. they printed tons of occupation notes. lots of it never went into circulation. so its not uncommon to have crisp ones like the ones i have. but lots of it was destroyed due to it being worthless after the war. so its not super rare but its a piece of paper that survived WWII and is now 70 years old. so its still a cool collectors item.

This is strange? it should read "De Japansche Regeering" where it says "The Japanese Government"

on some of them it says that but not all of them. do a little research and you see they printed occupation money for lots of diffrent places. it just depends on the place thay were planning to take over. the language matchs the country. plus some are in pesos and centavos, dollars and cents, pounds and shillings, rupees, and gulden.
