The listing, HP Pavilion Recovery Kit : Recovery CD-ROM - Windows XP Home Edition has ended.

This is an HP Pavilion Recovery Kit that has 9 Recovery CD's - Windows XP Home Edition . There is a couple of very minor scatches on disk 1 that I noted and on disk 4,5 they there are a few scratches as well. I don't think it will interfere will anything because they are very light scratches even though there are quite a few.It doesn't have a box and says it's for distribution only with a new HP PC. I don't know if it's for a laptop or desktop because I got this in a box of other things.

Do you see a part number or Build ID Number on the disks...

besides the date the only other numbers are at the bottom and they are HP5013-4261. Hope that helps. fanning

With recovery cd's like these they will only work on the computer that they came with. I tried to use my hp recovery disc on another hp with the same OS and all and it wouldn't work. I had to go buy a OS cd to fix the other hp. good luck F/W

i kinda disagree hp cd could work on other hp but there other factor on why it will or wont now if u have the right hp n the cd work u could take the harddrive out once install n possibley put in another hp or compaq not not al of it will work like maybe get the op n sound but maybe not the right driver for ethernet port but there way arround that get the op on n then goto hp.com n put in the type of hp or compaq n get the needed driver hope that help if more ? message me as i do basic reprogram n repairs info is free

if im right that set is really for hp pavillion a814x but i think it work for most hp pavillion few changes might be needed from hp site for few things but if ya know basic programin u can do it
