You soon find out that he is not only trying to find something but he is protect not something, but the future of the human/mutant race and civilization. And then comes Cables Rival; Bishop. Whom spoils all the fun and leaves it with a cliffhanging ending.

This is such as kick-ass comic. If you look at my auction for X-Men HOPE, you'll notice that the girl Cable protects is one and the same...the last hope for all human and mutant kind. Cable is constantly protecting her, until she eventually gets the Phoenix's powers....but that's not til later :P
