So, I've been getting a number of requests for auctions of certain games and while I have no intentions of putting up each and every one of those requests, here's an idea for those of you looking for a steam game, have some credits to spend, but not the money to get a particular steam title.

There will be 7 layers to this auction. A bid at 1000c will get you a $5 (or less) game. 2000c a $10 game and so on like so:

1000 - $5
2000 - $10
4000 - $20
8000 - $30
16000 - $40
32000 - $50
64000 - $60

Rules:

I'm only accepting level amounts at each layer, so A bid of 2500 will get you only the 2000c level, $10 game.

All pricing is based on US listed prices in the steam store. *Something worth noting as different places around the world have different pricing.

On sale games are tricky as they're on sale for such a short amount of time. Can't guarantee that you can get a game on sale if you won the bid.

Any game for PC or Mac is acceptable.

Please ask any questions you might have.

Good luck bidding, thanks for looking and be sure to check out my other auctions.

I am assuming that if the bid is under 1000 it will still be a $5 game...

The start bid was 1000c, so it starts at 1000.

If (I mean when...) the auction reaches $20 or even $50, would you be willing to get a Steam wallet code for the person? Seems like that'd be easier for everyone in the end. Thanks for this auction!

We don't have access to steam wallet cards here in Canada, yet. Unless there's an easy way to do so online, this actually works better for me.

Can I choose a game when the summer sale starts?

As I outlined in the rules, it'll be hard to line up purchasing a game on sale because of the short time they are on sale. If we can work it out, sure, but I can't be online all the time waiting for a sale you want.

Is there like a GIN and if we win do we have to pick the game right away or can we hold it till a certent game goes on sell
Like in a month or something
Jul 8th, 2012 at 9:02:39 PM PDT by

Just look at the page and rules. It's all outlined there. The GIN is 64000c which covers the $60 title. Yes you can wait, I don't care, but if you're GINing the auction at 64000, which covers a $60 game, you wouldn't need a sale.

Can the winner choose more than one game? So let's say the winner won the $10 tier, can he/she choose two $5 games?
Jul 10th, 2012 at 11:32:14 AM PDT by
Original
Um, yes. But I don't want to be buying 12 $5 games at the $60 level. But yeah, if a few games equal the amount bid, we can work that out, just make sure you're looking at US prices.
