I have to share some of these Delphinium seeds with you! Wow, are they gorgeous and easy to grow!Delphinium is a perennial that blooms from spring to fall in Zones 3-7. I know they also grow in CA, is that Zone 9? They probably plant them in some shade though.
They grow up to 60" tall and are great for a burst of color (Deep Purple, to pale Blue/ Lavender) in backgrounds. No staking or trellis is needed.
This is the second year they have come up in our clay soil, and the plant has doubled in size!
They are planted by our back door. When I come in, I always step back out for just one more look. I'm in love with these flowers!
We never use chemicals in any of our gardens.
