it actually wont play mp4s --they have to be converted with the software thats on the coby player

when converted the videos play fine--this is due to being a china file that china made products only plays

its easy to do tho--it does work and is a good player --they only play videos of the mtv video format

the batterys last --playing videos around 7-10 hrs --mp3s 20 hrs or more --i got one just like this same model
