The listing, Bird Stuffed Toy--Squeeze Him, He Whistles! has ended.
I was about to list this bird as a loon but quite honestly, this bird doesn't resemble one to me. To the best of my bird knowledge(and being a bird owner, but no worry, Chipper comes nowhere to these listings)for one reason, the bird's bill is too long. I've been Googling the bird identification charts left right front center forwards and backwards to get a definitive answer. The closest that I was able to get is that this is some type of a brown wading or shore bird, like a heron or ibis, possibly a pelican.
This bird remains in excellent condition and is looking for a new home..perhaps yours? While his back, wings, tail and the top of his head feel rough and wooly, the rest of him feels soft to the touch. For those who have children, I think the different tactile sensations would be a good learning experience. As mentioned in the title, when you squeeze the bird, he whistles--that area is located around the bird's lower back. The bird's measurements are 6" high, 4" at the widest point and 11" long from his tail from to his very long bill.
I've repeatedly checked for flaws and other than a bit of the tag's fraying, I just can't find any. Considering the original date of 2006, I think this item is worth considering; otherwise I wouldn't list it. I did try to upload a video of the bird's whistling; unfortunately, this site doesn't allow it. I do think my seller reviews speak for my credibility...please inquire if you have any questions. Many thanks for looking!
