There is a jewellers mark inside of band dont know what it is, looks somewhat like an 8, so will let you know this ring may be bigger than a 7 but was sold as a 7, measures 17.5 mm on the mark.

Stamp inside this ring show an 8 meaning it is a size 8 and not that of a 7. Can you recheck the size? TY W

Ok I have done some more research. Jewelers marks may consist of letters. Some jewelry manufactures will mark rings with the size in number form.
So given this information this means that the 8 on your ring is the size of your ring and not that of a jewelers mark. Hope this helps TY still W
