Optical drive does not work but you can replace or download the cloud in the app store if you want to back anything up. The battery is burned out but still works when plugged into the wall with charger. A few letters printed on the the keyboard are worn out but keyboard is fully functional

What do you mean download the cloud via the app store?
This computer doesn't have the Mac App store on it. Nor can it support Snow Leopard (by default) the min OS needed in order to run the Mac App Store. And if you mean the iCloud, you can't download it via the app store, it is built into Lion and iOS 5 devices

I'll do my best to restoring it back to factory settings. I don't have the original software discs it came with but when I purchased it it was wiped completely clean and haven't done much with it besides surf the web
