Description

The listing, Green Nintendo DSi Game System has ended.

***RELISTED ITEM*** This recently sold to someone who was unaware that the item is not in perfect condition.

READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. THIS SYSTEM IS BEING SOLD AS-IS.

This is my daughter's old DSi. She scratched the lower touch screen by using an ink pen as a stylus. It has caused some issues with the sensitivity of the screen- more often than not, the screen reacts as though a stylus is touching it in that spot, making game play difficult.

IT REQUIRES A NEW LOWER SCREEN. While my daughter was able to get some games to work better than others, please do not bid on this expecting to get a working, usable DSi. Please do not bid thinking it'll make a wonderful gift as-is.

This item is being sold AS-IS, which is in less than perfect condition.

The system will turn on, load, play, and save a game. Aside from the screen, the system works perfectly.

The cost of replacement screens through Nintendo will run $75 for the total repair. We opted to spend an extra $25 and buy her a new one.

That said, you can buy the part online for $10-20, and if you know what you are doing, you can find tutorials on YouTube that show exactly how to fix it.

I'm not comfortable tearing it apart and doing it myself, or we would have.

I've also found people online who will do the total repairs (part included) for between $40-50.

The system itself is in great working condition. Games load, play, and save. Game play is only inhibited by the condition of the lower screen, so please, make sure you are aware and understand that.

"good auction" ~~~people need to "read"~~~ before bidding as it just causes trouble for someone's lack of reading what your buying/bidding on! "not your fault" ( gilly2878 ) it happens far to many times! it's funny people just bid/buy anything without knowing or take the time to investigate the item!!

It powers up, loads, plays, and saves games. However, the screen interferes with normal play, as clearly stated above.

Broken, but I should be able to repair. Watching, but no way I'll go over 1000.

Good luck- the last time we sold it, it went for over 20,000, while systems that work go for over 45,000.

How do you have it if you sold it?

As it says on line 1 in the item description, I am relisting it because the person it sold to did not read the description, and expected a fully working DSi. So, it's back in my hands.

Is it a XL or Normal sized?

GL = Good Luck, and it is a DSi, which is smaller than the XL.

Yup- as I said, it's a $10-20 part, as long as you know how to fix it yourself. It gets pricier when you have someone else fix it.
