The listing, RARE Authentic COACH bucket bag - PILOT has ended.

Rare, Authentic COACH "pilot" bucket bag, very gently used for a short time & in very good condition. leather is a deep, deep navy that almost looks black-hard to tell it's navy except in sunlight.

bag can be carried on the shoulder or used cross body.
adjustable strap allows for change in length making it more versatile. brass colored hardware in good condition and no fraying on the COACH hang tag, strap or the original leather zipper pull. 3 pockets inside-none that zip. no exterior pockets.

provided a large # of different shots of bag to ensure you can see exact condition. 1 small smudgey spot on the bottom of the bag (close up pic). plaid interior in excellent, clean condition. purchased new @ COACH in The Forum Shops Caesar's Palace Las Vegas, NV

Sometimes before items are put into production, Coach tests a style to see how it goes over. Thus, a pilot bag. Sometimes, changes might be made in some details from what the pilot version was versus what the final production ends up being. They might change lining fabric, hardware, thread colors, etc....this authentic Coach purse.

Hello, I had help with the authentication process originally by an actual Authenticator. Please dont block the people who can help you the most, She had wanted to stop by this listing and give it a Thumbs up and wasnt able to because she was blocked, it was her that helped me correct my original removal of this purse. shoot me a private message and I will let you know who it was. also the other user who you just blocked is another authenticator.. ;( I am just glad you are able to relist this bag. good luck with your listing.

thanks for the input Joe - i don't know how to get a private message to you - can you please advise? i am certainly not trying to block those who can and should be helping - just trying to protect myself from some of the foolishness that has gone on here this summer. certainly wasn't making comments to offend but the way the statement was worded sounded very much like as nasty-gram.

hi neighbor im in cartersviulle.the moderator is right alot of us know our coach bags and only try to help when we post comments or question things we ared not trying to hurt or put anything down just want to make sure listia is a safe place to be .we have had alot of fakes come up lately and since the mods no longer officially authenticate it makes people allot more cautious when bidding on a coach item.please don't block the ones who are trying to help they will be your biggest bidders!there are some of us thats about all we bid on are coach and we save all of our points to do so thanks for listing!

thanks Renee - i don't object to the moderators at all and actually love when they make comments directly to an auction. i think it's great they are keeping listia a safe place to trade. never would have believed in a million years that i would share my belongings this way but the site has made a believer of me. as for blocking - only when the messages seem rude - i guess i was taken aback by the way the statement was made by someone who did not appear to be associated with managing this site nor have any background selling here. i just went through a couple of auctions recently with rude folks that i took a chance on as newbies and am totally gun shy there right now. the other thing is this is my first share of a COACH bag - i've never even given one away to family...so there's that separation anxiety at work too i guess. thanks again for your comments. i'll try to chill a bit.

OK I am so confused are the moderators helping authenticate again? Last I heard from Moderator joe on another listing was they were no longer authenticating. I DO hope they continue as I have already had a problem with a FAKE coach with a listian seller and it took 20 days to fix it. By the way.. F&W LOVE the purse!

thanks - this one was previously posted in june and got pulled down. once authenticated in full i was provided the details above by the moderator and told i could relist. since i'd never experienced that before i was (a) hesitant to bother again (b) frustrated thinking i'd have to re-take the photos (c) on vacation and nowhere near the bag for 2 weeks so unable to do re-takes and (d) honestly kind of bent out of shape about the whole thing since i knew where when and how much i'd purchased this bag for. the moderator note copy in my listing was put there in hopes it would not end up pulled again if a different moderator decided to look at it this time it went up and to help anyone who had seen it before and wondered what happened to it understand the whole (for lack of a better word) mess. thanks for fanning. will fan back. glad to have you join the watchers as well.
