The listing, 100% Angora Rabbit Wool for blending, spinning, or felting has ended.

Great for dyeing, blending and spinning, clumping for yarn art, and felting projects.

Gretel is an English Angora bunny that has a lovely gray/silver color.

This auction is for 1oz of her fiber. The picture of the bowl shows what one ounce looks like. It's quite a bit!

My 4yo daughter helps to hand harvest the fiber. unfortunately she doesn't keep the staples straight, so to make the fiber easier to handle I hand card them with small carder brushes. The staples/locks are approx 3.5-4in long.

Comes from a smoke free home.

It's not "washed" in soap and water, but is cleaned and carded with small carders (the size of fiber blenders) to make little "poofs". Gretel is a family pet and very well taken care of and groomed regularly. You will find very little debri if any in this fiber. I also ship is in a box instead of an envolope or baggy so there is no chance of matting. Thank you for asking! Please let me know ifyo u have any other question.

Cinntia: I have won some angora fiber from her before and if I remember correctly, it comes all ready to be spun. Cleaned and carded or combed (I can't remember which).
