Description

The listing, HD Digital Video Camera (Slick) with 12.0 MP Camera has ended.

I have a new digital video camera. It works great, but I have only used it twice, since we have another camera with video capabilities that I use more often. It also takes 12.0 MP pictures along with its HD quality video.

It has 4x digital zoom; 12.0 megapixel resolution; 2” LCD display; SD slot for expandable memory (no card; just the slot); Built-in LED light; Easy upload to YouTube; It does take both pictures and video.

With the camera comes the following:

Slick HD Digital Video Camera
Tripod
USB Cable
A/V Cable
Software CD
Storage Pouch
User Guide

***To be clear, you will need your own SD card and eventually your own AAA batteries (three of them ) to power it up. **** I am leaving the batteries in that I used to show in the pictures that it powers up ...but how long they will last, I am not sure.

Perfect to preserve those memories and good times!! Good Luck!!

Nice auction. Good job with the description, too. Judging from the several pictures you took, I can tell, that this is a real auction. One thing I've learned about Listia, is that seller/buyer communication is important. You provided some good info about your item. Also, fanned you.

Can this be used to record videos then placed on a tape or DVD?

Hello, It is digital so there is no tape involved. I started typing and realized I may be giving you more info than you need but I play with pictures a lot so in the following, I provide details for handling digital files that you may already know. I am just trying to provide information. The way it works is...first - you record the videos using the camera. They are stored on an SD Card. This SD card will hold all the videos and pictures. It is the same kind of card that most digital cameras use.,, but you have to provide your own. They are not expensive. Then (depending on your computer) you can transfer them in a couple of ways. One ...you can take the SD card out of the camera and put it into the SD slot on your computer if it has one and your computer will treat the card as if it is another hard drive or flash drive which you can then copy the videos off of. These will be video or picture files that you can either store on your hard drive, burn to disk or upload directly to YouTube. **** One note...Did you know that if you make a YouTube account, you can store your movies with a private or unlisted setting so that no one sees them unless you want them too? You can change this setting at any time but it allows you to use YouTubes storage space and send a link to those you want to see your video. I use it all the time to share the kids team videos, etc with other parents..while not allowing the general public to see them*** This camera also comes with a USB cord that you can plug into the camera and attach to your computer. This allows the computer to "see" what is on the camera SD card in the same way but the SD card stays in the camera. It lets you copy, and upload the files in the same way I described above. It really is not that complicated and it comes with a user's guide to tell you how to use it also..or just ask more questions and I will try to help. :)

Thanks Robertarthur. The audio/video is cable is included and is used to plug the video camera to your television.. It lets you share your movies with your friends and family when you use the cable to connect your camera to a home TV so you can enjoy your videos complete with sound!

I am new at this an unfamiliar with the shipping costs to Canada. i definitely intend to ship it with tracking and don't want to pay a crazy high shipping fee so I will stay with my listing as shipping to the US only.

Hello, I am no expert but about every digital device today allows you to use an SD card to hold memory. They come in many memory sizes... all the way up to 32GB or more. It is like a little flash drive that you can plug into your computer except it is tiny and flat ( a little bigger than a mans thumb nail) and In this case, it slides into a slot on your camera and holds your pictures and videos. I have seen many on Listia, but they are everywhere.... Drug stores, Walmart, I have seen the best deals at Amazon.com, .Just search SD card, or SDHC card and you will see what it needs. It does not use the micro or Mini SD cards - just normal SD cards. This little SD card can be popped out and brought to your local photo shop for printing too. It really is amazing that so much can be stored on such a tiny device.

Hello...yes ... it has batteries in it right now because I literally used it twice. It is still in new condition though, It really did well. I filmed part of my kid's soccer game, and took a few pictures but as I said, I have another camera that I use more often so I am passing this one on rather than having it just sit on a shelf. I used it to upload unlisted video to YouTube in HD quality to share with the other soccer families . I admit I love taking lots of photos and videos, but to be honest , I am so glad I recorded so many memories... They are already loving seeing family and friends, and events replayed ... and they will be treasured even more as time passes.
