Very very beautiful antique scissors !!! they say 1928 on them . the are about the size of a soda can or a little bigger very nice . on both handles of the scissors the design is little buttons and bows super cute the holster is a dark brown kinda cherry wood color very nice scissors . great for collecter or for somone to just enjoy thier beauty !!!!! if you dont want to wait there will be a gin option and deffinately free shipping thanks and have fun bidding goodluck :)

The race is on-will my credits come in before this auction ends!? Absolutely Glorious scissors! These are an authentic reproduction of a design that came out in th very early 1900s,I believe it was the teens. They are called detail scissors and were the standard size for the period.They were meant to be "showed off" by well-to-do ladies who would needlepoint&embroider in their parlors. They were also a cherished gift for young ladies who completed their stitchery classes at their finishing schools for proper young ladies.Sure do wish I could have been given a pair! Originals on the market are almost non-existent&really expensive if you do find them-even these lovely reproductions are a challenge to find. How you can part with them I don't know but whoever does get these will be getting a real treasure! F&W!! (hopefully bidding!}
