The listing, COLUMBINE SEEDS MIX OF COLORS has ended.
You will receive a small baggie of seeds that have been harvested from my plants. ( See photo) They are all mixed together so I cannot guarantee which colors you will get. . Some are pale pink, some are lavender with a white center, some are deep rose with a yellow center... (sorry no photo of the last color) There may be other colors mixed in as well. ... Mine grew between 15 inches and 3 ft tall. They are a perennial. These are very easy to grow from seed and will reseed themselves in your garden every year. Columbine planted from seed are not supposed to flower till the 2nd year, although some of mine flowered the first year. If you plant them in the fall you can sow the seeds directly into the garden soil. Do not plant them deep. If you plan to plant them in the spring, you may want to chill the seeds in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 weeks in small pots of dirt covered by plastic wrap to force germination. If you are in a hot climate, try planting them in partial shade, mine are in full sun and do just fine, but the ones I have in partial shade have blooms for a longer period of time.
