Description

The listing, Ematic Ereader has ended.

I have a hot pink 7" Ematic E-reader. Very thin and small for compact storing. It comes with the adapter cord(the adapter cord, charger cord, has electrical tape on it where the casing got damaged. That is how it came to me). It has several Ebooks already downloaded onto it. Lots of music on it,and an episode of Spongebob Squarepants and Fairly Oddparents also downloaded onto it.It has the option to play your music as background music while you read, different light settings for when reading in the dark, zoom options for easier to read big font, the option to switch the position of the text from the ereader sitting up and down to side to side, different volume settings,am/fm radio, among many more features. Has ports for speakers or earbuds/earphones. It is NOT a tablet that has WiFi or you can play games on. It is for Ebooks, movies, videos, music, pictures, and stuff like that. All stuff must be downloaded onto or put onto it from SD card, as you can not get on the internet with this ereader. thanks for looking and if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

lol. I completely understand where you are coming from. That is the reason I got this one myself, and it being pink was a huge plus as well =) I have so many books and 4 girls under 8(who like to "read" my books) that I needed something that couldn't be torn up or become a canvas for crayola art projects. I love this but I barely use it anymore seeing as I have my hands full with my girls and baby boy on the way. I'm just hoping someone gets great use out of this as I did.

Oh no you did answer what I was wanting to know and yeah a lot of times they dont say what size (memory wise) limit they have, it's all good and I am so sorry for asking so many questions. I did try to read all the comments before I asked though :-) Thank you for being so patient with me.

lol just cause I place a bid on a hot pink ebook reader doesn't make me a ma'am. I was actually bidding for my girlfriend :) it's all good. Thanks again for getting back to me again. is it freeEbooks.net or free-ebooks.net? I have a book published on free-ebooks.net that's doing ok I was surprised to see it on their top ten overall list. Ebooks are a very cool thing and ereaders are very neat!

Really sorry bout that =) I do believe its Free-ebooks.net. And if your book is on there most likely I've read it. I'm addicted to that site =) I love my ereaders, just have a few too many and figured somebody else would love to have this one. Thanks again for lookin and sorry bout the whole ma'am situation =)

haha it's all good. yeah free-ebooks.net is where it is posted my author name is Patrick A. Walston and the story is called 12 days in hell it's a zombie story. some people like it others dislike it and many don't really care :P. Anyway I have found many wonderful books on that site as well and I am happy to hear you can add those books to that reader. Your information has been extremely helpful to help in the bidding process of this auction. Thanks again.

Thanks Mandie, I was just wondering what the external SD limit was if you knew some only use up to a certain gig size like a 4 or 8 limit but thank you for clearing up that is does indeed have an external sd slot that was my main question.

Your very welcome.Sorry if I didn't answer what you needed. It never gave a specified amount of external memory size that it could hold. Just says that it takes micro sd card(that is the only sd slot there is also). =)

MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, and more music files.JPG, BMP, AVI, MP4, FLV, and more. for pictures and videos.TXT, EPUB, FB2, HTML, PDB, PDF and DOC for ebooks. I've also been able to load Nook capable ebooks on it,among other types that are designated for specific ereaders(I think it just depends on the site you go to). PDF and EPub work the best I think and is usually the only types I've put on it the most since I've had it.

Oh,yes the books look just like an actual book(black and white). Some books for some reason had colored titles or the cover pictures(cover pictures were full color but all text was black). So I guess the answer would be yes to the e-ink.=)

I don't believe it can. I'm not 100 % sure but if you read further down in the comments I've put as much information about the certain types of files(and for what type of entertainment i.e. music,video,ebook,etc...) this Ereader supports.I suppose if the itunes videos were of any of those formats then it might play it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Actually I'm not sure. The pictures and videos are in color, and look great. The videos look just like they do on a TV,not pix elated(sp??) or distorted. The pictures are crystal clear. Mind you the pictures also have to be uploaded to the Ereader as well.No camera on the Ereader itself.

Yes ma'am,I sure do. I'll get a picture of the main menu up hopefully by tonight,at latest tomorrow afternoon(sorry for delay but have to charge camera for more pics). As for the Ebooks. You can buy them just about anywhere. You can also search for free ebooks in your search engine and tons of sit4es will pop up for them. I personally love FreeEbooks.net,which you can also find them on facebook as well. Amazon sells ebooks too. And no there is software for it. USB hooks into it and your computer for easy downloading.Sorry forgot to add that in the description and I'm not sure how to edit it in.

does it come with a program to open ebooks like digital editions or anything like that? Where does one go to purchase books for this reader? What online retailer sells the books?

Picture?type=square&access token=105469222550%7cd qfyki0ggnddypmnoq3ykmtsyq
sorry bout that, and yeah I completely understand about wanting to know before you buy. It comes with a USB that connects from the Ereader to your computer. You can find Ebooks sold just about anywhere on the net. Amazon, ebay, and a bunch of bookstores online sell ebooks. You can also find free ebooks on the net too.Personally my favorite is FreeEBooks.net Just download PDF ebooks to your computer then upload them to your Ebook.(sometimes you can find books that are Nook capable that will load onto this specific ereader as well). The way you upload the books to the reader is basically the same as when you upload music to an Ipod or MP3 player from your computer.

the battery life usually last between 8-12 hours depending on what you do. If you listen to music or watch videos on it a lot then it shortens the time of usage. It does have an energy saver option to dim the lights for more usage time as well.
