Description

The listing, Texas Star Hybiscus has ended.

This plant gets tall, the older it gets the taller it grows. Bunch of limbs coming out of the ground. Once summer hits it will be covered with buds. The flowers last only a day but more open every single day. They are about 6-7" round or more and very striking. Evidently they grow about anywhere as I have mailed them to friends all over the states. You will receive the seeds from one pod of the seeds which is a bunch. I start them early in a pot then move them to the yard when the weather permits. They freeze in the winter but come back year after year.

I'd like to send this to someone else(my mom) as a gift, if I won the auction and provided you with the address, would you be willing to send it to the gift recipient?

We got an hybiscus from a friend several years ago & we transplanted it into a 5 gal bucket & kept it inside...it grew to almost 8' tall before it started dying on us. It had the most beautiful flowers on it & at one time had 30 open flowers on it at once!! It was goregous! Fanned & watching!

If you had moved it to a larger container it would probably still be living. I have one of these that has been in a number of pots over the years. Its out this time of year and brought in in the winter.
