This is a tiered listing, and a *little* more accessible than some of the others I've seen.

You'll receive $5 on the card for every 500 credits bid:

0 - 499 = $5
500 - 999 = $10
1,000 - 1,499 = $15
1,500 - 1,999 = $20
...
9,500 - 9,999 = $100
...
19,500 - 19,999 = $200

The higher you bid, the more money goes on the card! No limit!

It will be mailed to you once your credits are transferred. S/H is free, USPS Priority Mail - you'll have it in 2-3 business days! An adult signature will be required so that the proper person gets the card.

Since I often look a while to find anything I want, I'm wondering how you can manage to spend this many credits. I'm sure it's a problem we'd all like to have.

Actually yes, if someone wants something bad enough they will bid as high as they feel they should which I have done on many things.....obviously we all have different ways of looking at things and there is nothing wrong with that. Regardless of how we all see it, it's a great listing and I say kudos to you!

It's not "generous", it's "reasonable". Others expect 40K credits when the payout ends at $200, but do you really expect people to continue to bid with NO increase in the payout?

Guess it just shows if you are financially "well off" you can buy your credits this way!.. This isnt really what Listia had in mind when they started this site.. but oh well.. its one way to get lots of credits.. if you can afford to shell out all that money in gift cards.. then lucky for you! its a way for a NEWBY to get lots of credits in a hurry.. good luck on your auction ..

I don't think Listia planned on hundreds of listings for a few Coke point either (done just to get credits for listing SOMETHING)! It takes time for the bugs to work out of the system, and some never do - look at eBay!

the highest ever auction sold went for well above 100k credits. not to belittle this auction, but it is no where near that. only 2 people i know of have had that many credits.
on a side note
Clearly the seller is doing something right if he is getting 43k credits each auction.. so really people quit complaining.... it isn't your money, why does it matter what he does? that was rhetorical btw.
I wish people were more concerned with stuff that actually matters... like idk the global economy, the millions of gallons of oil washing up an hour from my house. Even the threat of a nuclear holocaust is less trivial than worrying about this guys financial situation.

I agree with SpecialEffects...with the inflation right now you would be able to get way over 40,000 for $400. This is very generous of you to do this but your loosing credits by having such a low credit amount for each $$ amount. I would suggest next time either raising the credit requirements or putting a limit for the $200 at 40,000. Whoever wins is really winning big for sure, great auction...hope you will do more :)
