$60? how much does it weigh? what is it marked with? pure Silver?
tripple x pure silver look up 1847 roger brothers with tripple x it will tell you its pure it weighs just under 2oz.. silver 27.70 x 2 55.40 im selling as a beautiful piece. if your buying fot melt down your going to wait for silver increase anyways cause if your buying just to sell dosnt make sense. you will hold it silver will jump again and you profit.
Maybe this will help with the confusion..from www.silvercollect.com
Question: How do I know if I have sterling, silverplate, coin or nickel silver?
Answer: We have received many questions regarding the silver content in sterling, coin and silverplate; and how to tell the difference. Here are the minimum facts you should know when buying American silver:
Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver. The backstamp will include either the words "sterling silver" or "sterling"; sometimes will be simply marked as "925" or "925/1000". Some sterling pieces prior to about 1860 were not marked as such, and were not required to be, but American sterling earlier than this is uncommon.
Coin Silver is 90% pure silver. American pieces are generally marked with only the maker's initials or name, and are sometimes marked with the word "coin" or "C".
Silverplate is marked with the manufacturer or company name. Flatware pieces will sometimes also have the terms A1, XXX, quadruple and other words or symbols to indicate the amount of applied silver. Silverplate flatware consists of a base metal, usually brass or nickel silver, covered with a layer, or layers, of 92.5% silver.
very interesting analogy on spoon or silver and plated silver i took 3 more photos and look closly. the spoon says 1847 roger brothers a circular stamp with 999 insinde next to that xs triple. also its surprising that a silver silver stamp is in there because regulation of stamping value was issued after 1850. the spoon i have is solid pure silver and if you win it and it says other wise send it back and u will get credit back and ill sell it to apex with all my silver and make real money. what need is there to lie on here when we have to mail you these things i would look pretty stupid sending fake things.
any silver you win you should insure it ill tell you why. i bought 3 pounds of silver when it was 15 a ounce. i sent my bars to llc enterprise there was 3 gold rings in there one with a 2k diamond. the post lady boxed everything i paid and left. when i got money there was none for ring for i was promised 4000 for the diamond llc said it was not there. the post lady did not tape box while i was there i believe she stole it so now i insure and if you buy my silver its real and you should insure.
after a friend of mine won a watch from this lady she refused to send it. then he helped raise the bids on this auction. now she has blocked him and wont respond to him. won even thank him for helping her out on both auctions. shes pretty dirty if you ask me. feel sorry for who ever wins this one. gonna hold your credits up for a while.
