The listing, Ipod 6th gen 80 gig has ended.

This like new Ipod suffers from the sad face syndrome.powers up but a sad face icon appears.Other than that looks like new. just the sad face.it is black and has 80 gigs and is 6th generation with a big wide screen....a good steal if you know how to fix it.someone told me it was very fixable......I just don't want to mess with it.

One more question, when you connect it to your computer does it show up under my computer and can you browse its files?

From what it sounds like is that the harddrive is stuck. You might have dropped it slightly or bumped it against something one major reason apple dosent have to replace it. Thats the only one the harddrive ends up like that now. If you didnt drop it at all of slightly nudge it then its a hardware problem and youll need to purchase a brand new IPOD from apply. If you want me to help you winner i know a few ppl including myself that can help you with the apple manufacturers..

not water no drop just hard drive...it powers up than shows the sad face and makes a light clicking like the needle in the hard drive is't working properly

yeah only way to fix it is to open it up and shake the harddrive and it should work. Its just a disk that is messed up in the ipod might be off track. I work for a ipod store
