alot of counterfiet controllers be on ebay did you fully inspect the controller to see if its the official thing

i don't even think retail stores sell these in that packaging anymore because its easy to counterfeit. that's why u need to buy the one in the blue packaging or one from a trusted retailer. i know ebay or those little ads on websites advertising ps3 controllers for just $15-$20 are very tempting but almost 100% fake. go to youtube plenty of videos for spotting counterfeits.

It's hard to buy American. I believe Japan has China manufacture controllers for the PS3. I could be wrong. If The 29 dollar controller I off eBay looks and works like a Sony brand.

alot of the vids on utube you cant believe because one guy said if the model number ends in h its hong kong and u is usa.i bought 3 controllers from china that all end in u and in one vid they said the fake package is black and white.all i know is the ones ive got work great fake or not

The fakes work just as good but the only problems with the counterfiet controller is that the charge only lasts about an hour and the analog sticks are very stiff
