You put batteries in it. It takes 2 AA batteries. There's nothing wrong with it. I just never used it since I always used the camera on my phone.

you are supposed to be verified for bidders to trust that your auctions are true and not a scam. If you go to your profile page, scroll down, on the left hand side you will see where it says "get verified", this will guide you through the steps to verify your address, or phone, or credit/bank acct, facebook, twitter, etc. If you get verified on a couple of things, your bidders will trust you more and you will get lots more credits on your auctions.
