Well It really is different with everyone, sometimes its fast and some tims its slow. I was looking up info on this tomato plan and im going to copy and paste it and will also paste the link for you!!
San Marzano is part of the Solanum genus and is a Tomato variety. Its scientific name is Solanum lycopersicum 'San Marzano'. 'San Marzano' is considered a heirloom cultivar.

Considered by many chefs to be the best sauce tomatoes in the world. Originally from Italy, this plant produces 2-3" long oblong plum tomatoes that are rich in flavour with heavy walls and little juice. Produces over a long season, this plant is semi-determinate.
This variety is an Fruit that typically grows as an Annual, which is defined as a plant that matures and completes its lifecycle over the course of a single year. San Marzano is known for growing to a height of approximately 1.20 metres (3.90 feet).
Italy is believed to be where San Marzano originates from.

Typically, San Marzano Tomato is normally fairly low maintenance and can thus be quite easy to grow - only a basic level of care is required throughout the year to ensure it thrives. Being aware of the basic growing conditions this plant likes (soil, sun and water) will result in a strong and vibrant plant
