Get some of your things up here and get some points! I actually really like this site. It helps a lot with getting all the extra stuff I have to new homes, and get myself things I need. And you don't have to work to find the specific ppl who want your stuff who have things you want like on swap/trade sites. It does help to look around and get an idea of the values used on this site for different items.

There are some good ways to get small amounts of points to start with, but the best really is getting auctions up :)

I have 3 extra oversize singles I will put up later tonight. 2 of Avacyn and one of Sigarda. Those will start at 300.

They are 3.5" x 5" replicas of certain magic cards in a set given out as promotional items, or included in sets like the Commander Sets. These were promos for the Avacyn Restored pre-release tournaments.

Of the Oversized cards, not right now (other than the one in this set). But I have a stack of my husbands to go through tomorrow when he gets them out for me. I can let you know if I find some and put them up.

if you drop starting bid to 1200 ill start the bid

I really can't. I choose my starting bid based on the lower end of listia credit values (what they charge in their Rewards store being the higher end, and what you pay for credits if you buy them with cash being the average....the averages of what cards go for on listia being somewhere between the average and the low end. I choose the low end so I don't over "charge" anyone with my starting bids or expected tiers. I start bidding at about 1/4 of what they are valued at normally so that even if they only get one bid, I get 1/8 to 1/4 of what I could get reselling them at card stores. I prefer this, where there is a chance to earn more, and there isn't a middle man raising the price by 300-400% percent to sell them to someone in a store.

I have seen that we are not supposed to post cash values of things in auctions, but you can look up anything's actual values. It's just that the value of 1200 credits...I could sell 1 (in person), or two (at a store) cards for that value. So what I have it at is sort of insanely low, especially if it doesn't get raised at the end of the auction (which is always a risk, but part of the auction thrill).

I just love the thrill of auctions, and hate the mark-ups of retail...so I take the rick here :)

Correction: ...an 1/8 to a 1/4 of what I could get selling them myself. It's around I could get selling them to a card shop.

*if* they are very popular cards, they pay much less for cards that aren't big pulls.

@Derek134 Though I appreciate what a starting bid 5 days away from auction end can do for an auction, and appreciate your offer to start it :)
