The listing, FREE Mystery Box - PC stuff! AWESOME GIN PRIZES has ended.

Ladies and Gents, been waiting to do this one for a while and decided NOW is the time to list this. I am offering a FREE flat rate box stuffed full of PC related items.

I have peripherals, hard drives, USB things, memory, games, expansion cards, optical drives, and the list goes on. Some of it is older, some newer and all is tested and working. There are no whole computers though, can't fit those in a flat-rate.

Here's how it works: The higher the bids go, the bigger the box and more stuff that gets thrown in. Simple as that. Does the winning bid affect what gets thrown in? Yes, to a degree. I'm not going to ship you absolute garbage - I'm not like that. But the grand prizes won't get tossed in there for mere hundreds or low thousands, for example.. sorry. But read on!

The GIN is high.. I know, and here's why. The *three* GIN prizes have a cumulative value of over $300. Yes, $300. I'm not even kidding. That doesn't include everything else getting tossed in the box. I truly believe that you will find the GIN prizes alone worth the credits.

Now that you've gotten through this small wall of text, here are the rules:

1. Listia verified addresses only. No exceptions.
2. No int'l shipping, period.
3. No rude comments/calling me fake/otherwise getting nasty at me or you'll get blocked.
4. No pictures of the goods. This is a mystery auction, and I've given you quite a few hints already ;)
5. Please don't make demands of me or anything like that. Be nice, because I'll definitely be nice in return.
6. Absolutely no refunds. I'm sorry if you end up not liking what you receive/don't get exactly what you wanted... but I will not give your credits back on buyer's remorse, disappointment, or whatever.
7. HAVE FUN!!! I'm doing this because I enjoy Listia, and enjoy giving away cool things to cool people like you. :)

Well, to be honest.. I do have a couple miscellaneous laptop screens laying around, but they were pulled out of a couple pretty ancient computers. What laptop model do you have? I might be able to help out. Otherwise, won't be putting any screens in the box since they usually need to be matched to a particular model and would otherwise be useless "junk".

If you skipped the last update somehow, item count is at 39 with plenty of room to spare! Still trying to think of a creative way to take a photo without revealing too much. Open to suggestions via comment or PM! Will give a good hint about one of the GIN prizes if somebody can give me a good (and practical) suggestion to add a not-too-revealing yet tantalizing photo update by Sunday evening!

You mentioned you have some ancient laptop screens... do you have by chance one dor Dell Latitude C640 ? I have an old one that the kids use with an external monitor, but it is always no harm fixing this goldie...

Sorry, sure don't. One screen is a little one, maybe 10" if that which came off of my wife's old mini-laptop from her college days, manufactured probably around 1999/2000. The other, 15" I believe, came off of another old laptop from probably around '02 (my guess, from the stuff I salvaged from it). Neither are Dell unfortunately (Toshiba, and some no-name), so probably wouldn't be useful to you. Sorry I can't help there.

Thanks, and good luck! :) That would be an interesting auction, though tape drives aren't too commnplace anymore, at least as far as home computers go, and tape backup drives are a bit on the high side, otherwise it's something I'd personnaly be interested in. :). .

Only two possibly working screens I have came out of some odd no-name laptops that were 10+ years old and will probably end up getting sent off to electronics recycling.
