What year was this issue reprinted? it should say on the inside cover. Very cool auction, i have the Action Comics reprint first appearance of Superman, this would go great on the wall with it!

if you lower the starting bid to half that, im sure you will still get many credits!(including mine!) not many listians will want to lock up that amount of credits on a first time seller with no positive feedback.

Hi there. This is a great auction.I was wondering if there is any more info you could give on the comic.Cause i know of the 1975,2000,and the millennium edition reprints but none of this one. I have tried to research a reprint from 1967 and have found nothing... Please take no offense but either you have something extremely rare or you possibly misread the reprint year??? Thanks for your time!

on the pic it appears there might be a publication date at the bottom of the front cover, but its cut off and i can make it out. im very interested, and i really would like to know the actual vintage of this classic comic reprint.

It says 1940 Detective INC, comic renewed in 1967 by National Periodicals Publications. I would put a picture of the bottom half on here but it wont let me now.
