All sets are used. The circular needle measurement were made tip to tip and allowed for some of the needles having a slight curve at the join. The needle sizes were measured with a Boye Knitting needle gauge. Be sure before starting any project to do a gauge swatch. The vintage plastic straights listed above are probably from the 50's. I used a cable needle made of the same material and it broke very easily. They would be neat for a display of vintage tools.
