Since these are fresh, do they need any special treatment or can I plant and grow them right now?

They can be grown right now. We have already started some more sunflowers from these. We soak the seeds in a seaweed solution for 24 hours put them in a seed pot with coconut fiber and they sprouted in two days.

you can just soak them overnight and plant,sprouts just the same depending on soil used,here in florida it needs a sandy mix if in ground
