These are large (9 x 12) heavy stock paper doll books, uncut in excellent condition, with bright clean full color plates . The 30s/40s books contain detailed introductions with an overview of the fashion and the major designers from the periods, as well as details on each of the costumes presented.

~~ Glamorous Movie Stars of the Thirties Paper Dolls (1978): 8 Actresses, 38 authentic film costumes, including Greta Garbo, Jeah Harlow, Judy Garland and more, representing the top 7 Hollywood designers of the period. This book has some spotting/discoloration on the cover but the inside is pristine.
~~ Great Fashion Designs of the Forties (1987): Like New Condition. Two dolls and 32 lavish outfits for evening and day wear include Schiaparelli's dark blue wool suit; an Adrian cocktail dress in crepe; a four-tiered wool dress by Germaine Monteil; an elegant wedding gown from Henri Bendel; and much more.
~~ Ballerina Fairies (1996): Brand New condition. One charming doll and 8 imaginatively styled costumes glitter, dazzle and delight the eye. Includes fanciful dresses for the Lilac Fairy and the Fairy of the Crystal Fountain in The Sleeping Beauty, for Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, for the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and 4 other enchanting sprites.
