FREE: Mirrored Purse necklace pendant

This is a very old mirrored purse pendant for a necklace. I got it from my mother who states she got it from her mother. I don't know exactly where it came from, but I do know it is old. It is in excellent condition. It has little bells hanging from the bottom (see pic 6). There are two loops on the sides for a chain. It measures 2" from top to bottom, 1 1/2" side to side, and about 3/4" front to back. The lid does not latch. It does not look like it ever had a latch, so I am assuming this was decorative only.

I don't think it is real silver. There are no stamps anywhere that I can locate. It does, however look like it could be handcrafted. I really don't know much about it.
