As Logan wanders the snowy mountains of Canada, he tries to put the pieces of his past back together.

While fishing, Wolverine is approached by some mercenaries who need help tracking down a vicious murderer. However, the murderer finds them first, as does the Hunter from the Dark, a were-wolf-like creature who feeds on helpless travelers.
The monster soon realizes that Wolverine is no slouch and the fight may be more than it can handle.

It's adamantium claws vs. the teeth and claws of an 8-foot beast.
And will Wolverine slay the beast in time to figure out how these mercenaries know more about his past than he does?
