Questions & Comments
Would you consider offering a G.I.N. option for this movie? I would give over about 2222 credits. Don't mean to insult you if you were expecting more. I think it's a pretty good sized number, though, and then I (unless someone else beats me to it) could "win" the movie right away without waiting. You'd get credits sooner, too. I think my brother might like this movie. If you set GIN, you choose any number 2000 or over, of course. If you go higher than 2222, I'll just have to think about it is all. Thanks for reading this ramble. No pressure, and I respect whatever decision you make, of course (if you would rather just let the auction ride).... Thanks again.
I wish I could set a GIN - I would take you up on your offer in a heartbeat!! Unfortunately, I recently joined Listia and I don't have the Seller Wings badge yet, so I can't set any GIN prices. :( I would love to get 2222 credits for it - seeing as how there aren't any bids on it yet, I'm guessing you could win it for less! Thanks for your offer, sorry I can't take you up on it!
Sorry GIN couldn't work out, and I couldn't give you the points upfront, but maybe the auction will take off, and points will skyrocket. I see it happen A LOT at the end of auctions. I hope you get lots of credits. : ) I'll do my best, but I just put a chunk on another auction. I would love to win that one with "change," and come back and spend it all here! OK, I'll stop rambling again now.
I'd like some competition here -- a good, fair auction. No joke. I always feel bad when I win with too few credits I'd rather someone else win this for what it's worth than get it for 100. I think this movie is worth more that the starting bid, and best wishes to anyone else who decides to bid!
Here's a little snippet of a review from Amazon.com:
"...skit-to-skit, the news broadcasts are quite hilarious, making the film an overall winner if you’re in the mood for mockery." --Trinie Dalton
Product Description "This just in...The Onion invades DVD! Based on the wildly popular newspaper hailed by The New Yorker as the funniest publication in the United States, The Onion Movie brings you uncensored, uninhibited, UNRATED news and views from around the world."
Note: I don't believe most (if any) of it is REAL news, but the seller can correct me if I'm wrong. You definitely need a sense of humor to enjoy this, and if you are not easily offended...then you will laugh pretty hard at this type of thing (based on what I know from the Onion "newspaper" publication.
You can read more about the movie on Amazon. It sounds wildly, irreverently entertaining, if you're up for that kind of thing.
Thank you!! I am pretty new at this and just started most auctions at 100 credits because I wasn't sure how many was a fair starting bid. I appreciate your comment :)
