Description

The listing, Set of 3 Wild Strawberry Plants (Fragaria Chiloensis) has ended.

Wild Strawberry (Fragaria Chiloensis) plants for your growing pleasure! It is an adorable evergreen ground cover that has shiny dark green leaves. The plant spreads out and produces new plants by runners about a foot long, similar to normal strawberry plants.

The plants will be shipped packed moist. With this extremely hot weather, I will ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays so that the plants won't sit in some hot place all weekend.

I recommend you open your plants immediately and place their little roots in a nice cool glass of water overnight before planting to allow them to acclimate a bit. Then just plant them in your desired location with the roots just covered. Mulch around the plants but not over them. Water every week until they are well established. After the first year, they won't need special watering as they are extremely drought tolerant.

Wild strawberry will do great in either sun or shade or anywhere in between, and it thrives in USDA zones 4 to 9

If you use my low Get It Now, you will receive TRIPLE plants plus FREE shipping! Even if you could find them in a nursery, you can't find a better deal! Yep, that's SIX plants with free US shipping!

These plants will spread rapidly to form a dense carpeted ground cover that you can walk on. It is very low growing, maybe 3" tall. It blooms with tiny flowers and produces the round "strawberries" which are not edible, at least by people.

Happy growing and good luck!
