the password does not matter as this kind of router can be reset eith a pin their is a small button neat the intena press and hold for 3 sec and you will have router back to factory settings lol it is the master reset for the netgear router

on the bottom of router, next to the model # there is a v (ver) #. can you let me know what it is?
