This is a "Quad 4 Fan Pro Cooling Intercooling System" (thats what its called) for the original [fat] Playstation with four USB ports.

Basically this plugs into the fourth USB slot and runs four fans to help cool down your system. Whats nice is you have the option to have the fans on or not when plugged in it does not occupy a USB slot.

The first picture is a stock photo. I didn't like the white writing on it so I covered it with a piece of electrical tape. One of the click in tabs broke (fourth pic) but the the unit still stays plugged in, maybe a small piece would be needed if you're anal about it.
