How old is this. Is it fairly new. Either way, i hope to win this. I need one for my desktop.

its old, but it works, this is by no means a professional high detail webcam, its just your run of the mill first or second generation webcam., i use my laptop for everything now, so i'm slowly cannibalizing the desktop and its components.

goodluck!

bzzt. all i have is what you see in the picture. you plug it in, and windows (if thats what you use, i dunno about any other operating system) sets up a driver, its a logitech camera, windows loads the driver, and boom instant webcam. but you need some sort of program to run it... pertty much any video conferencing software will do it.. like yahoo mail, messenger, skype etc.

Do you need an installation disk for this to work?

some people might. i know little about web cams, or logitech. i found this camera in a box full of my old desktop stuff, i plugged it and and it worked for me (windows found the drivers, and installed them automatically) is this typical? i dont know. will it work this way for you? i have no idea. goodluck!
