I think when a person puts the item in the mail usps it is not the seller problem. some times things just happen. that is what i think it has happen to me several times on this site.

Yes,I know that snowfire, but that is what confirmation is for--the seller can put in a claim with USPS if the package is lost. Why don't people use it? Small price to pay.

May I register a pet peeve of mine? I'm tired of sellers stating that they aren't "responsible" for a package once it leaves their hands and refuse to refund credits if an item is damaged. Got news for these sellers. They may think that they are serving themselves by this stance, but in reality are only hurting themselves by driving away bidders. If I see a statement like that on a seller's page, I won't even watch the auction. What do you think?
