does it have a overcharge protection so it dont overcharge the batteries - i know the solar panels on my house i have to use a solar charge controller to keep my battery bank from over charge

I doesn't mention anything in the instructions about overcharge protection so I will have to assume that it doesn't. I wish I could tell you it did.
