Description

The listing, HANDMADE "NECK COOLER" has ended.

This is a new item I am trying on here. I made these by hand and they are definitely worth using especially in the heat we have now. They are neck coolers that you wear around your neck, but they have in the middle part of them bead crystals that swell up to 1000 times their size. You dip it in cold water and in about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour the beads absorb the water and stay cool for a long time. with the part that is hanging down your chest in front, you can use the ends to wipe your forehead, brow or where ever you are sweating. they can be dipped in water every time you need them day after day. Have made a lot for construction workers. They measure 44 inches in length and 2and 1/2 inches wide. Thanks and happy bidding!

Fanned and watch and bid. If I do not win this, would you please notify me if you make another and put it up. We have tried to make "homemade" ones but just made a mess :(

Hubby would not look too cute in pink..he has M.S. and these are very helpful. What we have now are not as large (bought at Walt Disney World) so a large one like this would be awesome for him.

I think I can find some more "manly" material. they really do help I never knew how much till I made some and gave to volunteers who built my home. they loved them

actually even if I win this one ..please keep me updated if you make more :) People with M.S. really suffer. His Neurologist would prefer he stay in out of the heat..but that just is not going to happen!

Can they be frozen and used as ice packs? I was in a car accident and need something for frequent icings of my neck and shoulders.

once the crystals gel after you put water in them, I don't see why not, but I will try one and see what happens, thanks for the question

once they are wettened you can freeze them and just smooth out crystals in cooler so they become evenly distributed. you could probably freeze them before wettening them too you just won't have many pelletts to give you relief
