Zinnias do best when direct seeded in a sunny area where they are to grow. They may also be started in a sunny window 4 weeks before planting outdoors. Transplant with care. Water regularly, keeping foilage as dry as possible. Remove faded flowers to prolong bloom.

Suggestion: Plant a cutting garden. Include Zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, bachelors buttons, daisies and black eyed susans.
