A while ago I auctioned off a collection of VHS tapes with episodes of the ORIGINAL DARK SHADOWS and so many of you commented how much you enjoyed the show.

Some of you expressed how much you wished you could find it in a DVD so here you go.

Spend some quality time with the most misunderstood bloodsuckers ever to grace the small screen in this collection of nine classic DARK SHADOWS episodes centered on Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) and featuring new introductions by Lara Parker, who played Angelique on the beloved gothic soap opera.

DARK SHADOWS The Greatest Episodes Collection featuring the best of Barnabus Collins! This DVD has 9 complete TV episodes and runs for approximately 3 1/2 hours. It is not rated, color and black and white, brand new, never been opened or used. This compilation is brand new and released April 2012.

I am interested in knowing if paying for shipping is expensive for a seller. Or does it average out over time with sales? I am new to Listia and I cannot see paying too much to ship out physical items due to shipping costs. Hope you are able to comment.

Welcome to Listia, you will love it here. It is not a requirement to offer free shipping but usually if you ship for free you get higher bids. If it's a high end item that people really want they are usually willing to pay for the shipping cost and bid high. It's very cheap to ship items first class (under thirteen ounces) and you might stick to those lighter items for awhile. I usually will only ship heavy items when I know I can make it up with credits because there are so many wonderful things to bid on here on Listia. lol Hope this helps. You are amazing! My Mom watched this growing up and when they did the TV remake in the 80's/90's I think it was I loved it!!! So many soaps tried to go where DS went but they can NEVER compete with Barnabas! F&W

I love Dark Shadows...came home from school back then to tune in every day.
Also a note....Jonathan Frid passed away about a month ago...he was from
Canada....sad. He was my favorite all time vampire.

I know what you mean...My sister and I would rush home from school everyday to see what would happen next then the next day all the girls would go discuss what happened. It's one of my fondest memories. Jonathan Frid was well loved and respected and will always be remebered. I wonder if some of the vampire actors out here today will have the same everlasting fame.
