this is one of our awesome metal detector finds from one of our trips to long island,my hubby is from down there,and I am from up here in the mountains.we dug this up in almost perfect condition as the day it mustve fallen from the hair of a rich queen or princess.haha! anyways,its something like my old great gramma wore.the stones look like mother of pearl and I cannot tell what type of metal it is.i betcha it meant a lot to the girl who wore it because it is beautiful.i'll be listing more of our finds so I can win something great for my hubby.i don't wash the items we find so the value is higher(that's what old frank the metal detector guy at the garret shop told us)thank you .
