Since you are new to Listia, I would encourage you to browse through some of the listings. Most sellers offer fair prices (credits) for Lego's and other items. As you look through the listings, you'll get an idea of much items sell for on Listia. Of course, the better quality, condition and rareity of the item, the more credits it will sell for. If you think an item costs too much, you don't have to bid. Also keep in mind that many sellers offer free shipping on their items. The shipping may be free for the buyer but someone has to pay for it and many sellers, like myself, pay for it out of their own pocket and also provide tracking info. which is an additional cost. Just an example - It cost me over $60 last month to ship all the items I sold here on Listia.
So, considering everything, 200 credits as the starting bid is more than fair. Even the GIN option of 5999 is a great deal esp. since many buyers are already bidding on items for Christmas and the holidays.

Thanks for commenting on this auction. 200 credits is actually just the Starting Bid and this listing has over 3 days to go until it ends. Buyers ban bid or use the GIN (Get It Now) option which for this auction is 5999 credits. Most of these smaller Lego sets I start with an opening bid between 100-500 credits. 200 credits to start for this item is more than fair and here's why:
This mini set was released in 2009 and is discontinued, this is a brand new, factory sealed set, this set is part of the very popular Lego "Creator" theme, this set is a Jeep and Lego cars of any kind are in demand with all ages and just two days ago, I sold another of this exact set, here on Listia for 4999 credits.
As you get more familiar with Listia, you'll see that all items sold on here are not brand new items - many are gently used. Lego's are very popular and usually the retail is pretty expensive, so it's a great option for people to bid on Lego's here on Listia using credits. If you search for Lego's on Listia, you'll see that many of them are used or have open packages, which is fine to get a great deal, but if you want to give Lego's as a gift, most people want them new in a sealed package. Those, of course, are more in demand and cost more credits. Continued...

I'll be doing a Lego Mania Mega auction... a new Lego item will be added each day to the auction and a special bonus Lego set/item will also be added for each credit goals reached (at 5K, 10K, 20K credits, etc). The auction will run for at least 15 days and will include sets and Lego officially licensed items - hundreds of dollars of Lego's! And everyone can participate since I'll be asking what Lego themes everyone wants included. So keep an eye out for this special auction starting Thursday, 8/2!!
