The listing, Yaffa 100% Human Hair 24 inch Blonde Wig has ended.

This auction is for a Yaffa Brand 100% Human Hair wig. Yaffa is a very high end brand located in NYC (http://yaffawigs.com). Their wigs start at about $199.00 and run into the thousands for some styles and cuts. This wig style is labeled "Fantasy", and is discontinued.

I bought this wig as one of my first wig purchases about 2 years ago. It is naturally curly, as you see in the second picture with my daughter modeling it. If you wash it, and air dry it, it will curl in spiral like curls (even the bangs). Being made of human hair, it can be straightened, as you see in the other pictures, or curled with rollers, curling iron, or crimper.

The wig is 24" long at the longest point in the back, and has shorter layering in the front and a bang that measures around 4" straightened. There is plenty of hair to take it to a stylist and have it cut, thinned, or shaped to your liking.

The color is of the wig is 16/10, and that is why I am auctioning it. The color is listed on the Yaffa site as dirty blonde in their color chart (http://yaffawigs.com/index.php?route=information/hair_colors), and I just can't wear this shade. The blonde is beautiful, but it is too ashy for me, and makes me look washed out. I thought about dying it, but the wig has already been processed, colored and permed, at the factory, and I didn't want to damage the hair any further.

This wig has only been worn twice. It was washed and deep conditioned before straightening, which was my last attempt to see if I could wear it. It just isn't going to work for me, so I am ready to pass it on to a new home.

The wig is in excellent condition, and has two velcro adjustment straps on an average size open wefted cap.

Excellent! I appreciate it. Wigs are definitely helping me through my late 40 hair blahs. I'm constantly amazed at how the styles and materials of wigs have evolved, compared to the ones from even 20 years ago. They have come a long, long way in recent years.

I didn't put a GIN on the wig, since I am not really any good at "pricing" on Listia. I just set my auctions for 7 days, and let the normal bidding process decide the value of each item I offer.

This is a well made wig. It will hold up for many years with appropriate care. It's designed for serious wear.

I wear wigs all the time too. I wish I could wear this one, but the blonde is just so unbearably wrong for my complexion. I am tired of looking around it in my wig closet, pretending like I might wear it someday. I guess I didn't want to accept that I had made a bad color choice the first time around. LOL!

I wanted to mention that the curly picture with my daughter is closest to the true color of the wig. My camera seems to want to give it a red tone, but really, it's a very neutral blonde.

Thanks! I really wanted the curly look, since my own hair is curly, and thats why I purchased this style. Everything about the wig is great, except the color is just light for me. I know it will be a fantastic wig for someone who can really do justice to the blonde.

Sure. The cap is marked as average. According to Yaffa, the expected measurements for an average cap are:

AVERAGE
21.5” CIRCUMFERENCE
14.25” FRONT TO BACK
13.5” EAR TO EAR

Since this wig was never really worn, and I don't store my wigs on a block or head, the cap should be true to size, and not stretched at all. Plus, the adjustments tabs will allow you 1/2 inch or so customization.
