Description

The listing, great grandmother's BEAN POT has ended.

My great-grandmother died in 1956, this was here BEAN POT. My 93 year old mother recalls this when she was a child and said "it was old back then!" This auction is for the pot and its lid (2 pieces) not including the ruler! As is. Sorry, no returns of the item no returns of credits, i.e.: no buyer's remorse. This includes parents who aren't aware (which they should be of what their children are doing) that their child bid and win and the parents don't want. I am not your child's "keeper", sorry--this has happened too often as of late. Have to "sell" it now as it took a long time before Mom was willing to give it up. So "grab" it while the going is good!
SHIPPING: $6.00 (will be extrememly well packed) and 85 cents for tracking.
Remember, this may be a "one shot deal" before she changes her mind. She wants to get the credits for me so that I may get more items for our church Christmas Bazaar craft group with the credits it yields.
Thank you for considering, those bidding and to the winner!

What kind of bean pot would this be? I'm curious because most bean pots have the loop handles on the side for easily picking them up, and many have the wire handle that goes from side to side. Also, does this one have a signature on bottom? And can I see the inside of the pot? Thanks!

Unfortunately, when this auction goes off in 30 minutes, I am not where it is... it is at my 93 year old Mom's. Next "round" I will certainly have it for you. I am so sorry, if I knew much more ahead of time of the auction, I would have certainly been able to accomdate you.

ADDENDUM: all I can say about the title "BEAN POT" is that my grandmother always referred to it as "Great Nana Kit's BEAN POT" and my Mom has done likewise. That is all I recall ever being cooked in it!

Oh, ok. That's too bad cuz I love to collect and refurbish vintage pottery and had considered a significant bid if the age could be established.
