Arcana volume 3 by So-Young Lee. This is a Korean style comic (manhwa). It has a very similar style to a manga (Japanese comic). It's a fantasy romance story. Rated T.

Inez is a young orphan girl with a special gift that allows her to communicate with all creatures. A great destiny awaits her, the nature of which she is yet unaware. As our story opens, Inez is traveling with an old wizard named Kaager and a faithful dog named Zode. Her country is about to plunge into its first winter in one hundred years and ominous signs abound concerning the return of a demon-race which threatens the country's fragile peace. Can little Inez - via a magic amulet - bring back her country's ancient dragon protector in time?

When Mong is captured and frozen in a cage, Inez and the gang begin an intense rescue mission. Salvation rests in the form of a magic key for which Inez searches in the hope of releasing Mong. But black magic is in the air as the group fights a villainous elf. just as victory seems near, another danger looms in the horizon!

its from tokyopop this book came out November 30, 2005, the 4th book was ok but the cover art wasent as nice as this one (the 3rd) and the story went down hill a little there.
