Thank you. I have another set, but it is in white. Thought I'd hang on to those though.

None that I can make out. There is a stamp of some sort on the lady but it can't be made out. I have tried with a magnifier glass .

Welcome to the Listia Community, earauer. These are quite interesting and charming. Are these family heirlooms, estate sale finds .... just thought, perhaps, that there was a story behind them. Items always seem more tempting to me when there is a good story attached. LOL. Thank you for listing them.

Thank you. There may be a story behind this set, but what it is I do not know. My Grandmother collected all sorts of things that collect dust!! lol. What I do know is that my Grandfather was a Dredge Engineer and worked on many waterways and canal systems in the US and abroad keeping them clear for shipping and boating.
My Grandmother always traveled with him and set up house where ever he was working. So I imagine she picked these up somewhere along the way.

Wow! I wasn't aware of their value. I have another pair I think I will be keeping!
They are a bit different than the ones I have listed here, and appear to be older given the price they are listed for on rubylane! Thank you, I learned something today!
