These books build fluency and independence with the right Leveled Reader for every student. The 11 books offered here are for the average 5th or 6th grader (although some students could easily read these earlier and some later, depending on their previous schooling).

The books average just 16 pages, so these are not long, drawn out boring stories. And there are 4 questions about the story on the back cover. The inside of the front cover actually gives the number of words in the book and a Strategy Focus.

I should think this a fun lot to use in August to get your child ready to start a new school year, or if they have already started, just to help them learn!
